GISA’s Business Sustainability Program has awarded almost $700k in funding to South Australian businesses and industry associations to progress sustainability initiatives.

The Lead-Educate-Assist-Promote (LEAP) program provides funding to industry associations, peak industry bodies, registered business groups and organisations to support project and improvements that will drive resource efficiency and sustainability.

In 2024–25, 7 grants were awarded to the total value of $697,890, unlocking a total project value of $914,218.

Assess-Implement-Monitor (AIM) grants provide a contribution towards the cost of expert advisory services to complete an assessment of environmental sustainability performance, and provide recommendations and a business case for investment in more sustainable and circular business practices.  

In 2024–25, 8 grants were awarded to the total value of $155,000, unlocking a total project value of $334,263.
