Green Industries SA (GISA) recently joined Collab4Good and program partners at Lot Fourteen for the Circular Impact Accelerator 2026 Pitch Night.
Now in its fifth year, the Circular Impact Accelerator supports emerging circular economy ventures to test, validate and refine business ideas that tackle some of our most pressing waste and resource recovery challenges.
Six teams completed the intensive 6-week program which culminated in a pitch night, where each team presented their business ideas to a live audience and a panel of judges.
GISA awarded a total of $20,000 in business development funding on the night, with judging based on the clarity of the circular problem being solved, the viability of the business solution, team capability and passion, and the strength of the pitch.
Jeremy Dossor from Waste Not Site Management was awarded the $12,000 major prize, as well as the $1,000 People’s Choice Award, as voted by the audience on the night.
Kris James from Adelaide Electrical Salvage was awarded the $7,000 second prize.
Read on to learn more about this year’s teams.
Jeremy Dossor – Waste Not Site Management
Waste Not Site Management works to reduce construction waste on building sites by enabling builders to understand their waste, recover all valuable materials, and reuse it in its highest value form.
Kris James – Adelaide Electrical Salvage
Adelaide Electrical Salvage turns e-waste into a parts supply chain, recovering working components from discarded electronics and using them to repair appliances and equipment, and also making them available for sale online – giving repairers and DIYers across Australia access to affordable parts that would otherwise go to waste.
Sarah Whittaker and Callum Unger – Pressed Planet
Pressed Planet turns plastic waste from Adelaide eateries and events into reusable flat-pack drink trays. Each product is made locally, and once worn out can be returned to Pressed Planet to be remade.
Hayley Polyichanin – The SA Repair Network
The SA Repair Network is working to bring together South Australia’s repair sector by supporting local businesses to grow, and advocating for government policy and programs that enable repair, and educating consumers on the value of repair.
Hayden Nguyen and Cherry Nguyen – BEXT Solutions
BEXT Solutions takes unwanted agricultural waste and turns it into affordable and biodegradable fertilisers.
Amanda Porter – Little Earthlings
Little Earthlings is a second-hand clothing website, selling quality pre-loved clothing for children from birth to teens, that allows parents to ‘op shop’ from home. Little Earthlings’ future goal is to create meaningful and flexible employment opportunities for people with disabilities, carers and parents looking to return to work.
