$850k awarded in business sustainability funding

GISA’s Business Sustainability Program has awarded more than $850k in funding to South Australian businesses and industry associations to progress sustainability initiatives.
The Lead-Educate-Assist-Promote (LEAP) program provides funding to industry associations, peak industry bodies, registered business groups and organisations to support projects that drive circularity and sustainability within industry sectors and regions.
In 2024–25, 7 LEAP grants were awarded to the total value of $697,890, unlocking a total project value of $914,218.
Assess-Implement-Monitor (AIM) grants provide a contribution towards the cost of expert advisory services to complete an assessment of environmental sustainability performance, and provide recommendations and a business case for investment in more resource efficient, sustainable and circular business practices.
In 2024–25, 8 AIM grants were awarded to the total value of $155,000, unlocking a total project value of $334,263.
